Registry

Verify a document

Every contract Agrim E Sign completes is written into an append-only registry: its Contract ID, its name, who signed it and when, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of each file we produced. Look a contract up by its ID, or upload a PDF and we will compare its fingerprint with that record.

The registry is what proves a document — not the stamp or the signature drawn on the page. A picture can be copied onto any file; a fingerprint cannot.

Look up a Contract ID

The Contract ID is printed in the footer of every page of a completed contract.

Check a file

The file is fingerprinted and discarded. It is never stored, and no account is needed.

Add the ID if the file is a scan or a print-out whose text we may not be able to read.

What the answers mean

Verified
The file's fingerprint matches the registered one exactly. This is the only outcome that proves a file.
Mismatch
The file carries a Contract ID we hold, but different contents. Somebody changed it or rebuilt it, and the organization it belongs to is told.
Unverifiable copy
The contract is real, but this file is not ours byte for byte — a scan, a print-out or a re-save. We show the registered facts so you can compare them yourself.
Unknown document
Nothing links the file to a contract in the registry.

A verification never shows the contents of a contract — only its name, status, signers and dates. The documents themselves are encrypted and reachable only by the parties to them.
