Version 1.0 — effective 2026-08-31
Terms of Service
These Terms are the agreement between you and Agrim E Sign for the use of the service. Creating an account means accepting them, and accepting the Privacy Policy that goes with them.
1.What Agrim E Sign is
Agrim E Sign is a platform for preparing, sending, signing and verifying contracts electronically. You upload or write a document, place fields on it, send it to the people who must complete and sign it, and receive back a finished PDF with an audit certificate and a fingerprint recorded in a public verification registry.
The service includes organization accounts with roles, an in-house identity-verification review, stamps for verified organizations, document sharing, submission exports, and a public page where anyone can check a finished document.
2.Your account, and telling the truth about who you are
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to use Agrim E Sign.
The identity you register and the documents you submit for verification must be your own and must be genuine. Submitting somebody else's document, an altered document, or a false name breaches these Terms and may be a criminal offence under Nepali law.
You are responsible for your password and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has reached it.
Signing requires a verified identity, or an organization that has verified you in person and has said so on the record. That is deliberate: a signature is only worth what the identity behind it is worth.
3.What you may not send through Agrim E Sign
The platform exists to make honest agreements easier to complete. It may not be used for the opposite.
- Phishing or impersonation — any attempt to make someone believe a document comes from an organization it does not come from.
- Fraud or extortion, or documents designed to obtain money, credentials or identity information by deception.
- Contracts that are illegal under the law of Nepal, or that are a step in carrying out something illegal.
- Bulk unsolicited sending, or using the sending features as a mailing tool rather than to complete a contract.
- Attempts to reach data, contracts or accounts that are not yours, or to interfere with the operation of the service.
4.How we enforce that
Every email the platform sends carries a link for reporting abuse, and anyone can use it — with or without an account. We read every report.
Where a report is upheld we may suspend or close the account responsible, void contracts it has in flight, and refer the matter to the authorities. A suspension ends every session of that account immediately.
Sending is rate-limited, and new accounts have lower limits than established ones. Every administrative action we take is recorded in an audit log that cannot be rewritten.
5.What an Agrim E Sign signature is — and what it is not
Nepal's Electronic Transactions Act 2063 recognises electronic records and electronic signatures. Agrim E Sign produces an evidentiary electronic signature: the document is bound to the people who signed it by the record kept around it — a verified identity, a one-time code sent at the moment of signing, the times each party opened, read and signed, the address they signed from, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the finished file written into an append-only registry. If a signature is ever disputed, that record is the evidence.
It is not a digital signature issued by a certifying authority licensed under the Act. Those carry a statutory presumption that the signature belongs to the signer; ours does not, and we will not pretend otherwise. What ours carries is a detailed, tamper-evident trail that a court or a counterparty can examine. Integration with a licensed certifying authority is planned, and when it exists the difference will be shown on the document itself.
Satisfy yourself that an electronic signature suits your transaction. Some instruments — under Nepali law, or under the internal rules of a particular institution — still require wet ink, a physical stamp, or a notary.
6.What Agrim E Sign is not
We provide the tool that carries a contract between you and the people you send it to. We are not a party to that contract, we are not a notary or a witness, and we do not check that what a contract says is true, lawful or in your interest.
Nothing on this platform or in its documentation is legal advice. If a contract matters, take advice on it.
The administrative console has no path to the contents of your contracts. The Privacy Policy sets out the exact limits of operator access, including the parts that are uncomfortable to write down.
7.Availability, and the limits of our liability
We work to keep the service available, the hash registry intact and our backups tested, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent Nepali law permits, Agrim E Sign is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or lost business, or for loss arising from a contract you chose to enter into. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
Keep your own copy of any contract that matters to you. Every completed document is downloadable by every party, and we recommend downloading it.
8.Pricing
Agrim E Sign is currently free. Every plan is NPR 0, and the product contains no payment processing at all.
We may introduce paid plans in future. If we do, existing account holders will be given notice before any charge applies, will be told what each plan includes, and will be free to stop using the service instead. Contracts already completed are unaffected by any change of price.
9.Suspension, and closing your account
You may stop using Agrim E Sign whenever you like, and may ask for your account to be deleted from the Security page in your settings. Deletion follows the process, and the retained-records exception, described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, that is being used to harm other people, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we say why.
10.Changes to these Terms
The version line at the top of this page changes whenever these Terms change. Account holders are notified before a material change takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means accepting the new version.
11.Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of Agrim E Sign, are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Kathmandu have jurisdiction.
The law that matters most here is the Electronic Transactions Act 2063, together with the Privacy Act 2075 and the Data Act 2079.
